MB World Group sponsors physiotherapy equipment to children’s home
12 December 2019 – MB World Group Berhad donated RM10,000 worth of physiotherapy equipment to Johor Disabled Children Charitable and Cares Organisation in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru. More than 20 staff of MB World Group paid a visit to the charity home on 12 December 2019.
The physiotherapy equipment including gym balls, eggsercizers, pedal exerciser, wall bar, stacking cones and exercise band is used to train the physically-challenged children to improve their mobility and coordination.
In conjunction with the Christmas celebration, the children and staff of the children’s home also received a Christmas gift pack and were treated to McDonald’s and KFC-style meals. In addition, MB World Group Berhad also donated RM1,000 cash and other daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil and milk powder worth RM1,500 to support the daily operation of the charity home.
Established since 2017, Johor Disabled Children Charitable and Cares Organisation provides shelter, care, training and education to the children with multiple incurable disabilities, such as visually-impaired, physically and mentally challenged, autistic, paralytic, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and others.
