Developer Involves Staff in Corporate Social Responsibilities
JOHOR BAHRU, 21 July 2018 – Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam (PKAYI) Kota Tinggi which houses 85 children ranging from age 9 to 17, welcome 50 staff of MB World Group Berhad (MBWG) for an eventful day at the said charity home this morning.
Present at the event were the Management Secretary of PKAYI, Dato’ Tuan Hj. Mohamad Bin Mahmood and his team welcoming the entourage from MBWG.
At the event ceremony, Dato’ Hj. Rohman Hj. Ahmad, the Business Development Director of MBWG said in his speech that as a reputable local developer listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, MBWG regularly involves its staff in corporate social responsibilities (CSR) for different organisations based in Johor.
“We take pleasure in our endeavours to serve the needy,” said Dato’ Rohman.
Acknowledging that orphanage is a generation that needs help, compassion and attention from people from all walks of life, MBWG involves in this CSR donating RM30,000 to the charity home where the contribution is to help the orphanage with its facility and welfare enhancement such as dining tables and chairs uplifting, building paintings and new doors facelift, and eyesight examination and glasses prescription for the children.
Among the activities took place at the Home were a guided tour of the premises, eyesight examination by a team of opticians, photo-taking with a Mascot, and building painting carried out by Staff of MBWG under the supervision and guidance of the occupational painters.
All were treated to morning refreshment and sumptuous lunch prepared by PKAYI in-house cooks. Staff of MBWG also celebrated July birthdays with children of PKAYI.
